/ Kitesurfing lessons are weather dependent. It is at the discretion of your instructor as to whether it is safe for a lesson to go ahead or not. Unfortunately this may lead to your lesson being cancelled at short notice, we apologise for this, but it cannot be helped.
/ If your lesson has to be cut short due to an unforeseen change in the weather you will not be charged for the full lesson, only part thereof that has been completed.
/ We require at least 72 hours warning if you are unable to make your allocated lesson, failure to do this will result in full or partial loss of your deposit.
/ Deposits are non-refundable, and are also usable to buy equipment if preferred. Deposits should be used within the season they are bought in, however if this is not possible due to bad weather they are transferable to the next season at our discretion.
/ We do not teach water lessons through the winter, and begin the season when we feel it is warm enough to restart lessons. This is typically around mid-April, and it is for your well-being and safety.
/ We are fully insured, but it is a great idea to get your own kitesurfing insurance before your course. This is great to have any time you are kitesurfing and costs just over £30- what a bargain! Get yours on the BKSA website. Our insurance does not cover you for personal accident.
/ Participants must be over 18 years old, minimum age with a legal guardian is 12 years old. Guardian must be present at all times during the activity.
